Request to Create an Offprint

Requests to transfer offprints to the Reserve collection must comply with the rules of copyright. Students can retrieve a copy of offprint from the "Library Materials for Courses" system.

Transfer book/s to Reserve Collection

A book will be transfered to the Reserve room according to the teacher's request. The teacher must fill out the appropriate form that can be found in the Median-Reserve desk or at the general circulation desk. There is no need to bring the book. All the book's copies will be transfered to the Reserve collections and will be circulated according to the loan period specified on the form.The loan period in the reserve section, are the same for the academic staff and for general readers.

Private Books

If a book that is needed for the course's compulsory reading, can not be found in the library, the teacher can leave his/her private copy. 
The private books are kept at the Median-Reserve desk and handed to students only in return for their student card.The library is not responsible for the loss or damage of these books.


Upload Movies & Pictures for Courses

Incorporating movies in the "Library Materials for Courses" system

You may incorporate movies and audio files into courses and make them accessible from home using the "Course Reserves" system. Please send the required files two weeks in advance. Ordering new films for the library collection

Movies can be ordered for courses and / or for research in all areas, including: films, documentaries, educational films and plays. The films are then included in the library collection and are offered for loan in accordance with tour loan procedures. For reservations, please contact Ms. Einat Ritz-Nageli. Request a Specialized Library Instruction for a Course

The library conduct specialized training, designed for specific courses, planned and scheduled in coordination with members of our teaching staff. Creating Information Literacy Courses

The library now offers the creation of online Information Literacy courses designed to instill basic literacy content and skills essential for students such as: searching and locating information sources and selecting appropriate databases for advanced courses.

Course creation is coordinated with the specific department or faculty and combines designated and unique content instruction, such as: academic article analysis, writing and submission of assignments and seminar papers, and specific citation rules.

If you are interested in learning more, we would be happy to meet with you, present the courses we have created, and discuss ways to modify them to fit your special academic needs. Such a course can serve as a platform for the creation of similar courses and may contribute to instruction resource conservation.

ORCID researcher profile assistance

As part of the efforts of increasing the visibility of university faculty members researchers, the University has acquired an ORCID institutional license, with the goal of producing an ORCID number for each faculty member - a unique identification number that appears on all of their publications. This number links the researcher to his \ her institutional affiliation, research and research grants. This process enables easy identification and recognition of the researcher's publications.

Please create a personal ORCID account using the following link as part of the university license. If you already have an ORCID account, we will request for it be linked to our institutional account. The process of approving your personal account involves entering a number of personal details, and does not take more than a few minutes.
